North Carolina food service managers seeking “Certified Food Safety Manager” certification in order to meet the NC Food Code requirement of the food establishment’s inspection can register for the upcoming NC Safe Plates class offered at the North Carolina Cooperative Extension in Haywood County. Area Family and Consumer Science Extension Agent, Julie Sawyer will be offering a two and a half day NC Safe Plates class as well as the ANSI certified National Registry of Food Safety Professionals Food Managers Certification Exam on Wednesday & Thursday, November 28 & 29, 2018 from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. with the exam on Friday, November 30th from 9 a.m. -12 noon at the Haywood Cooperative Extension Office, 589 Raccoon Rd., Waynesville, NC  28786.
