Haywood County 4-H – County Activity Day
Public speaking and demonstrations are a cornerstone program of the 4-H Youth Development Program. The public speaking skills developed through the 4-H presentation program have been recognized nationally. 4-H’ers can research a topic of interest and prepare a 5 to 10 minute presentation. All participants must be age appropriate and reach the time limit: juniors 5 to 7 minutes and seniors 10 to 12 minutes to qualify. All presentations need visual aids which include: posters, PowerPoint, and props, to help youth to explain their topic to a panel of judges.
Youth will present their presentation at the Haywood County 4-H Annual Activity Day on Thursday, May 14 via Zoom. Please contact 4-H Agent Coley Bartholomew at firstname.lastname@example.org or 828-456-3575 to schedule presentation time for the county level presentation competition.
