Pesticide licenses are required in order to use restricted use pesticides in the state of North Carolina. You can hold a PRIVATE applicator license for agricultural commodities grown on land you own/rent or a COMMERCIAL applicator license if you earn money from the spraying of pesticides.

Private applicator licenses are valid for THREE years and require 2 hours of V credit and 2 hours of X credit by June 30th of the year of renewal.

Commercial applicator licenses are valid for FIVE years and require various hours based on your license. More Information
