Every week, I take a local grocery store weekly ad from Haywood County and give you a creative meal with the sale items that uses recipes approved by N.C. Cooperative Extension. That way you have healthy, delicious meals on a budget!Why is this newsletter happening?
LendingTree conducted a study of American grocery consumers, and found that 90% of people (including high income earners) were changing their grocery shopping habits based on the current inflation we are seeing. 29% are paying closer attention to prices, 26% are using more coupons and discounts, and 59% are reporting that they are dining out less. This is a way for N.C. Cooperative Extension to meet our community's immediate need for saving money at the grocery store.What is the grocery store rotation?
This newsletter will rotate through one of four grocery stores in Haywood County, so that a different store's ad is featured each week; and regardless of where you shop, you will see your favorite grocery featured each month. The rotation will be: Ingles, Food Lion, Publix, and Walmart.
