Have you ever thought of volunteering with Haywood County 4-H?  Join us for volunteer training sessions to learn about 4-H, volunteer opportunities and how you can be a supportive and caring adult volunteer!

All interested adult volunteers are invited to our training sessions (either one or even both) whether you are a current volunteer or are simply just interested in becoming a volunteer.  These trainings may also apply toward annual volunteer training requirements.

April 27 - 10 am - 12 pm

Topic: 4-H Volunteering 101

In this training session attendees will learn the basics of being a volunteer with Haywood County 4-H.  4-H is a great and broad program that allows for a myriad of opportunities for youth and adult volunteers alike!  This training will include: a introduction to 4-H, different volunteer opportunities, pertinent Haywood County policies, volunteer requirements and volunteer basics.

April 27 - 1 pm - 3 pm

Topic: Volunteer Leadership

Volunteers are more than helping hands, they're leaders in their communities!  In the session volunteers will tap in to their leadership potential.  We'll learn what motivates you as a volunteer, take a leadership self-assessment and gain a better understanding of the positive impact being a 4-H volunteer can make on the lives of youth in our community.
