I received an alert that rust is showing up on ornamental trees so scouting now will be important. Species most affected by rusts include:
  • Arborvitae
  • Eastern red cedar
  • Leyland Cypress
  • Chinese junipers
  • Other Junipers (Cupressaceae family)
  • Hawthorn
  • Serviceberry
  • Crabapples
  • Quince
