Join us for an exciting opportunity to learn more about Haywood County 4-H! We're hosting two upcoming interest meetings on October 7 at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Haywood County Center, located at 589 Raccoon Rd. in Waynesville, NC. These meetings are a great chance to discover how 4-H can help youth develop valuable skills and make a positive impact in our community.


Homeschool Group Interest Meeting

Are you a homeschooled youth or a parent of one? Come to our Homeschool Group Interest Meeting at 2:30 p.m. This is an excellent opportunity for homeschooled youth ages 5-18 to connect with peers, explore a wide range of interests, and participate in hands-on projects. We'll discuss how 4-H can complement your homeschool curriculum with activities in areas like science, agriculture, healthy living, and civic engagement.

Youth Leadership Council Interest Meeting

Calling all future leaders! We're looking for passionate youth in grades 6-12 to join the Youth Leadership Council. Our interest meeting will be held at 3:30 p.m. The Youth Leadership Council provides a platform for teens to take on leadership roles, plan and execute community service projects, and gain invaluable experience in public speaking and decision-making.
