The West District 4-H Teen Council is hosting Winterfest here in Haywood County on February 24 from 10-3!   Youth must be ages 12-18 and be registered and approved in 4-H Online for the current year.  Parents must attend and transport their kids to the activities.

We'll start here at the Haywood Cooperative Extension Office where youth will be able to meet and socialize with other 4-H youth from across the West District.  We'll also create H.U.G.S bags to donate throughout the district.  If participating please bring new/gently used hats, umbrellas, gloves or scarves.  Participants will be able to recognize this service project on their Achievement Plans and Project Record books as a District level service project.  We'll wrap up the day at Tube World in Maggie Valley!  Lunch will be provided.

Interested families must let Haywood County 4-H Agent, Leah Jorgensen (email: leah_jorgensen@ncsu.edu or 828-456-3575) that they would like to participate by February 16th, 2024.
