In an effort to better help our ag community, N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has activated its hotline.
The hotline will help connect farmers with resources that can assist with damage and other ag emergencies related to tropical storm Fred.
The toll-free number is 1-866-645-9403. A live operator will be available 8 a.m. –5 p.m. daily.
Farmers can also find other recovery resources on the NCDA&CS disaster website.
