2024 Haywood County Grower-Buyer Meeting

What is a Grower-Buyer Meeting?
Grower-Buyer Connections events are designed to connect individual growers to individual buyers in a respectful & efficient setting that can lead to a sales relationship.
Each grower meets face-to-face for 5 minutes with each buyer, with buyers moving from table to table. Growers at each table have the opportunity to share product lists, photos of their farm, and samples with buyers; and buyers have the opportunity to share their requirements for volume, insurance, delivery terms, and their specific product needs.
Where is the application?
We are accepting applications for this year’s Grower-Buyer meeting to ensure a diverse mix of both growers and buyers. It is first-come, first-serve by commodity type, so apply early! You will receive confirmation of your selection within 3 business days of submission.

What is the agenda?
5:00 p.m. — Registration & Coffee – this is a time for growers to set up any samples/table displays and for loose networking
5:10 p.m. — Welcome & Overview
5:20 p.m. — One-on-one conversation begin (5 minutes with each table)
6:45 p.m. — Open networking – a time to continue conversations
7:00 p.m. — Evaluations/Closing/Thank you’s
