Dig-in Youth Gardening Workshop Series

In this four week workshop series, youth ages 5 to 12 years old will learn about types of gardens: traditional row gardens, container gardens, and square foot gardens and the advantages and disadvantages of each type of garden. Through hands-on learning, youth will complete curriculum activities on seed propagation, amending the soil, and learn the skills necessary to start their own garden.

April 14 – Helpful Bugs and Pollinators

April 21 – Planting the Children’s Garden of the Canton Community Garden and Salad Gardens
