New Information for Exhibits + Livestock Shows
Fall is in the air and the Haywood County Fair is coming up October 5-9, 2022! After not having exhibit entry since 2019 (due to COVID and Tropical Storm Fred), we are excited to see what our community has to showcase this year!
Entries MUST be entered online ahead of the take-in day! There will be NO day-of entries to be registered. This is different than previous years! These changes are being put in place in order to help our staff and volunteers working the exhibit intake and also to transition to an electronic entry system. This includes entries for livestock shows, which also MUST be entered online before the show date.
Livestock shows at the Haywood County Fair will be charging a small registration fee per head of livestock this year. These changes are going to help with funding for fair premiums. There is NO COST for the special showmanship. Each head of beef is $5, a head of sheep/goat/pig is $3, and poultry is $1 per bird. These need to be paid with CASH/CHECK on the day of the livestock show.
